Step Class - EDM 173


This is me taking my first step class. It always seemed to have complicated choreography, and routines that no one without formal dance training could hope to follow. And I worried about the impact on my knees. The class I am taking is called 20-20-20 and includes 20 minutes each of cardio, strength training, and stretching. Last week our cardio portion included the dreaded step. And it wasn't so bad. Not very complicated, not very choreographed. Simple and effective, and a great workout. It was low impact, and I was able to follow the steps and keep up. What more can you ask from a fitness class.
I was so excited I went home and iced my knees and journal led about it.
Prisma pen, and watercolor pencils in my day journal. I'll call this EDM 173 - draw something from memory.

Good for you! I tried a step class at a fitness club with the same worries. After my fourth class, I was still going right when the class was going left. I just like to think of it as my creative self exercising. Nice job on the sketch and getting the routine!

Great page!! And it made me laugh...remembering the time I tried to take a step class. I was an athlete in college, and even still, I felt so uncoordinated!!

Great sketch, I enjoyed hearing about your first step class. I've been allergic to anything like that for a lifetime but I took up Pilates a few months ago and I love it.

Wow this is nice! I thought you're playing Wii Fit with the balance board or something, my wife has that and she absolutely loves it!

Nice sketch! Always good to try different types of exercise! And keep the ice coming! The more you exercise I bet the less ice you will need!

You go girl!!! XD!! Just keep moving, at least that's what I tell myself when I get lost in a dance step while exercising. Love the sketch!
