These brilliant red hibiscus flowers were blooming in front of the hotel we stayed at in Fort Lauderdale. We had left Calgary early in the morning and it was -16C. In Fort Lauderdale, it was warm and humid and rainy. And there was green grass and blooming things. It was such a treat for our winter-weary souls. When we returned home, it was again very cold and very foggy. Good riddance to February, I say, time to turn our thoughts to spring and sunshine.

The colors are glorious! I am so happy you drew hibiscus because it's the national flower of Malaysia too :)
Lynn, your hibiscus are beautiful. Spring can't be far away -- I found the first crocus of the year poking up out of the leaves right next to our house where the snow has melted. Yeah!

I am cheered! Thanks!
It's lovely! I usually have a pot or two of them growing on my porch during the summer. It's nice to see them in March! nancy
These are beautiful. They remind me of my Morning Glorys I have planted next to the deck. Lots of people consider them a weed, because they spread so prolifically, but I love seeing their big color blooms. Glad you got to enjoy some sunshine and warm breezes and get a break from the cold northern winter. Looks like March is coming in like a lion this year.
Great choices on the colors--the background really sets off the flowers.
Great job, Lynn! The colors are fabulous! I am hoping my hibiscus come back this year and weren't killed by the freezes!
Great colors and subject. Wish I had been there too.
This is just lovely!
