Remembrance Day

In remembrance of all those killed in world wars.

And a special remembrance for the 133 Canadian soldiers who were killed in the struggle to bring democracy to Afghanistan.

Beautiful drawing, and a touching tribute... may all the souls lost in war be resting in peace

Beatiful sketch and colour. Kind words to soften people's hearts.

The drawing is so beautiful as is the tribute. I scrolled down and really like your glove, also!

Gorgeous poppies, Cordelia.
I love their beautiful red
color, and of course
your thoughtfulness for all
of the veterans whose lives
were lost.

My pastor is a canadian and was looking for poppies this week! I was excited to know the connection when I saw your beautiful drawing. Very special.

A very powerful image and sentiment. I can see this made into a screen print to wear.

These are so very pretty. Once, a long time go I was in England on Remembrance Day. They had a memorial with the Queen and her family and every regiment that still had a representative was there. Old, old men and nurses and young people too. At the end, thousands of poppy petals fell gently from the ceiling of the hall it was held in. It was just beautiful. Your flowers reminded me of that day. Thank you, Cordelia.
